Very helpful and comments make me want to do better
Any tips for me? I am diabetic and am told to eat no more than one fruit a day. I am hooked to “Oscar my 24-7 Oxygen tank”I really don’t know how to eat! Cut sugar and carbs except low glycemic veggies. I try to drink st least 64 oz of water and don’t eat after 6pm. I eat 5 oz protein a day. My weight is staying level at 220. For a 5ft3 woman I am “BubbleWoman”

I've tried dieting and it probably lasts up to a week and then I'm back to my original eating habits.....how do I discipline myself
Hi i am new to this site but i have a few suggestions for you and i really hope it helps. You should cut your carbs down to 20-50 grams per day, eat at least 80 grams of protein a day and absolutely do as little as possible in sugar. Use splendas natural stevia or erythiol for sugar instead of regular sugar. Don't count calories count your carbs. It is very important to keep your carbs to a bare minimum. The diet is the Keto diet and it's amazing. Get the " Craveable Keto Diet" book. The book is by Kyndra and she's amazing. The book is a steb by step on this diet. I have been on it for 2 weeks. I started it on March 9, 2018 and i used to drink Monster energy drinks and diet pepsi all day every day and i have completely stopped drinking both and i feel better about myself and can tell a difference. This diet can really help your diabetes too. I know your stuggle i have been over weight my whole life and this is the first time i have actually seen these kind of results. I have a 108lb weight loss goal. I am soon to be 36 and have decided it's time for a change. Maybe we can help support each other. Hope this helps.@Kccooper
A high protein low carb diet can work for anyone even people with physical problems. I have a bad back, fibro, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and knee problems and i am doing the diet. The exercise you do with it is based at your pace and you just add more the more you feel comfortable with. You can do something as simple as going for a walk every day. Oh !! Most importantly drink lots and lots of water. I never drank water before this diet just Monster energy drinks and diet pepsi now water is all i drink except occasionally my chai tea with a half of teaspoon of splendas natural stevia.it took me a little less then a week to get off the energy and soda drinks. 20-50 grams of carbs and high protein. You take your weight and put it into kilograms and that's how you figure out the protein you eat per day whatever it is thats the recommended grams of protein per day your suppose to eat. Hope this helps. I have 108lb weight loss journey to get to my goal weight and i am just in the newborn stage and have already seen a difference. Good Luck Everyone !!

Good luck to you as well! And thanks for the tip about converting my weight into kg and that's how many g of protein I should have each day. I'm already on the water kick. I'm new to this site as well. I have numerous health issues. One I'm dealing with now is Avascular Necrosis of both hips; I had my left hip replaced in April, 2017, everything went great. On Dec 11, 2017, my right hip was
replaced. After a few weeks, I developed a bacteria in the wound. In Feb 2018 the wound developed 2 areas where there were 'tunnels' or holes that developed. These tunnels go down in my leg and are quite deep. So, I very
limited on what I can do. I also have the same, Avascular Necrosis of both knees, which means I will have to have knee replacements on my knees. I've had 4 strokes, which left me with left side weakness, a blood disorder that causes blood clots which the Doctor's cannot find where or why it comes from, Fibromyalgia very bad, Migraines, Stomach Issues, Feet problems, Back problems, and many more.
From October 2016, I have gone from 272 lbs to December 2017, 188 lbs. Since I've had my
right hip replaced in December, 2017, I've gained 9 lbs. My height is 4 ft 10 in. My goal weight is 125 lbs. When I found this site, it encouraged me to continue to lose more weight. The weight that I have lost, I did on my own, with no meds, no help of any kind.
I no longer eat on a regular plate, I use a salad plate, drink tons of water, never go back for seconds, and if I eat anything sweet for a special occasion, I make sure my meal before or after reflects that sweet (I eat a very small piece of whatever the sweet may be).
I'm very excited to find out more about this program and how it works. As well as the information each person has to share with one another.
Good Luck to Everyone!
Most of my fat is in my stomach
