No, it's fine. I feel more hungry when I'm not working out as well. Same thing with my loss of appetite for an hour or two after finishing work out. It's completely normal
I think, you should follow approach, that Katyaa suggested. You should start slower and aim to consume around 3000kcal. Don't compare yourself to your boyfriend as well - firstly, he is a man, so he will gain weight and muscle mass much faster than you, especially as he clearly is an endomorph and as you have correctly noticed - you are entirely different in terms of your predispositions.
Please report back to us, when you reach 3000kcal. I hope that, you will gain another 10 pounds or more soon enough
It is true, that you should gain more weight than you did, especially as you eat really a lot right now. Personally I would expect you to gain at least 18 pounds in period in 3 months, not 10.
Your metabolism is definitely too fast! By the way, how do you feel at 2300 kcal? Don't you feel like it's too much for you?
Hi! You don't seem to be as skinny as you describe. I agree, that 10 pounds in 3 months is a little bit slow, but at least you are going forward.
Everyone is different and some just really gain weight much slower than others. It's the same thing with losing weight.
How much calories do you add per week? Do you do any cardio or something that may slow down your progress?
I hope that you eat correctly as well - mostly healthy products.
Well, I have nothing against tattoos as well even though I don't have any.
I know a few girls, that have them and they love working out as well. I think a lot depends on a person and on your project.
Some I consider ugly and some I really like a lot. Doesn't change the fact, that I'm definitely not going for it anytime soon
I wouldn't say that it really makes any difference, unless you have some serious problems with your cortisol/other hormones level.
It's much better to just simplify it like Katyaa did and apply certain approaches based on how we react to things.
I'm basically constantly under a lot of stress due to my work and I didn't notice any regress because of that
I wanted to also note, that even though I'm under a lot of pressure I need to eat in the morning or I'm not really feeling good. I also need to have at least a few meals per day.
I have actually tried IF diet for a over a month and it definitely didn't sit well with me, while a friend of mine, which has a tendency to gaining weight had lots of trouble losing fat on any other diet than IF.
I'll allow myself to add, that this friend of mine was also under a heavy stress, when he was losing his weight, so I don't really see this theory about cortisol to be true.
It's all genetics if you ask me and there are many other elements to be considered here besides cortisol.
Wow, thanks for this Strawberry! How could I not think about it, haha.
Thank you all for your suggestions
I will make sure to add pull-ups as well as it was one of my favorite exercises, that I seem to have forgotten about.
I feel like I have the biggest problem with overcoming the last part. Like I can't straighten up entirely.
I have basically zero problems with detaching the barbell from the ground.
I could try pull ups though as they were out of my routine for a while.
Thanks
I've tried different volumes on both high and low reps. Nothing seems to work.
Hello, so I guess you know me pretty well already!
I have both some experience and knowledge, but I can't seem to improve my deadlift.
I'm 5'6" and I weigh 137 pounds. My PRs at the moment are:
Squat: 205 pounds
Sumo deadlift: 225 pounds
Military Press: 110 pounds
Bench Press: 155 pounds
So as you see, my other lifts are pretty strong, but I feel like I seriously lack power in deadlift.
What may be the cause here? I've tried different methods: classic/sumo, high reps/low reps and many supportive exercises to increase my back strength.
I don't feel like I lack in legs as my squat is pretty strong and my back isn't that weak as well.
I will add that I have stronger sumo than classic actually by a little bit - 10 pounds to be exact.
Maybe the problem lies in technique? Just the thing is that, while doing sumo deadlift, it's rather hard to mess up the technique, so I'm leaning more towards weak muscles.
Anyone has any ideas? I would love to improve this lift
Great introduction! I wish you achieving your goals and just as leonaaa said, I don't believe that you are as obese and unattractive as you state that you are, but most certainly you don't feel well in your body and it's a good enough reason to change your life
Sorry, you don't understand. I don't want to engage in this discussion anymore, it's your life, your breasts and your body - do what you want
I don't want to continue this discussion as it's clearly off topic, but why do you compare tattoos to implants? Those are two entirely different things. I personally don't like tattoos, but a friend of mine loves them and she has almost her whole body tattooed - I don't see anything wrong with it, but implants? They really look stupid and funny, no offense.
LOL! Are you really saving for implants? Unless you have micro breast and you are really ashamed of them, I would never decide to ever get implants!! Even if I had micro tits and I would be afraid of showing myself to work or going out.
Yup, I can relate to this as well. Unfortunately you cannot impact your breast size by any exercises. That's a shame, indeed.
You will have to learn how to live with small breast. I managed
The most important thing is to keep working out your whole body, so you will make up for the loss in your breast.
Moreover, as annbee already said their size may increase, but it takes time and it's not because of any special exercises. It's because of your whole body growing in size and muscles developing everywhere, so the same happens with pectorals and your breast will seem to be a bit bigger.
That's great to hear Anna! This is the reason why we have all gathered here - to help each other accomplish their goals. I'm very happy for you :). I gotta say, that it has also took me significant amount of time to finally realize how important it is to keep your body in shape and be healthy overall. My husband just like yours has always been training. He was never really much of a gym freak, but he was always physically active and did various activities - like cycling, playing football with his old friends and so on. I, myself was more like you - staying at home, gossiping with friends instead of getting a decent workout, but I have overcame
my weakness and I'm much happier that I have been before.
Good luck on your journey. I hope you will fit into our community and we'll all accomplish our goals!
