I love food overall, so it's hard for me to even pick my top 5, but if I have to then it would be something like: subway sandwiches, basically every pizza except the one with pineapple and Mexican food - not that I really consider it as a cheat meal
I love to drink diet drinks as well - I have loads of stuff like Fanta or Sprite in the garage and I drink them basically everyday
People may say that they are unhealthy, but a glass or two everyday won't do any harm - of course I'm talking about sugarless editions
I will have to slightly disagree with you about SPLIT workout, Katyaa. I agree, that it's not good for beginners, but for anyone with 2 years+ of solid training it can be as good as any other training method.
I'm doing SPLIT myself and it's working really good so far - I'm not on juice of course. It's definitely not for people on Diamond33's level, but in year or two SPLIT can turn out to be a very good choice for her
As you said yourself very often, every single one of us is different, so we shouldn't rule out SPLIT just because it doesn't work for you - there are still people that follow this training with success.
I don't really like women with tattoos - I think that it just doesn't suit us, but I love dark-skinned men with a nice tattoo on an arm or neck...
Just like MomLovesIron said, just a matter of preference and as I don't really think they are a good way of adorning women's body, I'm not getting any.. ever.
Go for steroids and stop worrying that much. If you know what you are doing, they will be fairly safe and if you really want to pursue your goal, then I don't see any other option.
Please, take into account that it's not only your butt that will be getting bigger. Work out while on steroids is a little bit different - you'll need to increase your volume.
Of course it depends on work out you are doing and what cycle you will run. I would recommend quite heavy workout for both your bottom and legs twice a week.
You must let your body know, that this is the priority. You should also bulk and don't care about weight increasement as much as due to you being on cycle, your body will absorb huge amount of water - it won't be all fat, that you gain.
I don't want to get into details here though, so when you have a better perspective of what you want to do, feel free to hit me a pm.
I'll try to help you as much as I can as I'm pretty curious of what you can achieve as well
Well, what's your goal here? There doesn't seem to be much difference, if you ask me, so maybe just by working out as usual it will balance itself out? What part are you lacking at the most?
Deadlift is extremely complex exercise, so it may be easier to just narrow it down to the part, which you feel the weakest at.
I could recommend adding exercises like: farmer walks or pull ups.
I actually found pull ups to increase my back strength the most, so you may be interested in that
Well, I don't see that much difference between your other lifts as you are implying to have.
Maybe just deadlift is just not your strong side? Alternatively, there may be something wrong with how you do your deadlift, but I doubt it.
What plan do you currently follow? Maybe you don't have enough volume to improve this lift?
Those are really great goals, Elephant! I'm all about improving myself as well
By the way, remember to change your nickname after you lose weight as I have this feeling, that it's somehow connected to how you feel about yourself, haha.
Joke, but don't worry - you will feel like a cheetah soon enough
I always enjoy reading a good story! I hope, that you can back up your words and that we will see you making another thread in 4 months with new goals in mind
Moderation is the key, my friend. I try to apply this sentence to basically everything in my life. To be honest, I don't see anything wrong with alcohol or even drugs as long as it's in moderate consumption.
I'm a very tolerant person and I apply my tolerance to many things in life.
Same goes with food. Sallimaro's approach is much closer to mine than Lexie_1987's for example.
I drink alcohol, I eat dirty and so on, but I don't do it on daily basis. Moreover, I don't consider food from McDonald or Burger King to be as bad as some make it to be.
I actually think it's more healthy and balanced in nutritional values than some products, that people so eagerly buy at their supermarkets, but I would feel really bad with myself if I only ate burgers and chicken nuggets.
Those things do happen and best you can do is just turn a blind eye to this. It's not even worth thinking about.
It's not that you girls are looking like you were on steroids and are turning into a man, right? You are just fit women who work out for several years, love staying in shape and do their best in order to improve. Those who make fun of you because you have enough motivation, strength and dedication to pull this off are sad, little creatures.
I had some comments towards me as well, although never face-to-face. Nobody has ever told me this face-to-face and every man I know is looking at my body with desire, especially when I'm doing squats
Don't worry and of course - don't care about such people.
Haters are everywhere - you just start noticing them, when you are becoming good at something.
It's actually a great motivation to keep up your progress - it works amazingly good for me. The jealous look of other women is priceless.
Most women actually work out and try to look good because they want to impress other women - this is what makes me different from them as I only want to impress myself.
I used to be like them, but I'm not anymore.
Hey, exactly! Workout for both women and men is basically the same. You just have to remember, that for women muscles grow much slower than it is in case of men, so she can't expect to progress as much as you did of course, but in terms of losing weight everything that MomLovesIron wrote will work
It's okay, thing is that most people are eating incorrectly - a lot of fast food, bad distribution of macroelements, not enough food.
I have also noticed this tendency, that usually people that don't work out are eating either too much or not enough. Like we can divide people to two subgroups: those that are skinny - mostly, they just don't eat enough and overweight people, that love eating and they eat much more than they need.
Obviously genetic tendencies are one thing - but what direction will we go is entirely up to us.
Really? You consider 1400kcal a normal amount? And you have eaten like this for most of your life? Your weight or height, which you haven't stated as well doesn't even matter now, 1400kcal is way too low in any case!! I can't really blame you for having trouble with losing weight.
You will need to speed up your metabolism now, if you want to move forward. You should lower your calories intake and slowly start eating more.
Add cardio as well. Start from like 1600-1700kcal and add 30 minutes cardio 3x times per week. Then start eating more and more up to like 2100-2300 kcal and when you finally reach this point, you should start slowly doing less cardio. Don't rush in any case - from 3x 30minutes/week it will take you around a month to reduce your cardio to zero again.
Moreover, you are free to use some supplements that may help you restore your desired metabolism rate like: hydroxycitrate, acai berries, glucomannan, vitamin B-12 and green tea extract.
At least, it seems like my theory has been proven.
Well, I have a little theory, one a bit different than yours. My guess is that, you have extremely slow metabolism.
I can't only understand why you were skinny with such slow metabolism rate, but let's say that you were really not eating a lot.
Tell us the truth, how much did you eat when you started your diet? According to my little theory, you were consuming insufficient amount of food for most of your life.
Then you have decided to gain weight, so you made some diet and started to really eat a lot compared to what you ate before. Due to very slow metabolism, basically everything you ate was being stored as a fat - reason for this fast weight increasement. Now, your metabolism is still slow and everything you eat is turning into fat, so you have cut 10% from the amount of calories that you calculated from TDEE calculator, but your metabolism is slow, so actually what you have calculated is too much!
You don't even realize that you have such a slow metabolism, although don't worry - most people don't realize it.
I was interested in fat burners or any other weight loss supplements as well, like 10 years ago. I agree with everyone's opinion here.
They are just a waste of money, but you are free to spend your money however you like. Those fat burners are usually based on big amounts of caffeine or other stimulants, that stimulate your CNS, making your body more nervous and increasing the use of energy. This causes speeding up your metabolism a bit indeed, but if you take into account side effects, then it's definitely not worth using for the long-term.
The best solution in my opinion right now is Green Tea Extract, that is risk-free to use and can boost your metabolism rate from 5% to 10%, which is the most you can get out of supplements at the moment.
Caffeine is still great as it's the cheapest option - all fat burners are mostly based on it, so you can save a lot of money by just drinking coffee.
